Digital checks

Show the customer what you found, not just what you charged.

A tick on a paper sheet does not sell the work or prove it was done. A photo on the job card does both.

Checks split into pre-work and post-work, photos attached

Every job card carries a checklist split into a pre-work phase, done before the job starts, and a post-work phase, signed off before the car goes out. Photos attach to the job so a worn pad or a cracked bush is documented at the point someone found it, and the completed check prints alongside the invoice as proof of what was done.

  • Pre-work and post-work checklist phases, so what was found going in is kept separate from what was confirmed going out.
  • Photos attach to the job card from the technician's own phone.
  • The completed checklist prints with the invoice as a work-completed report.
  • A job cannot reach ready-for-collection or completed with a check still outstanding.

Common questions

Questions garage owners ask

Can a technician add a photo from their phone?

Yes. Photos attach to the job card from the mobile app, at the point the technician is looking at the car.

Does the check prove the work was done?

The signed-off checklist prints alongside the invoice as a work-completed report, so the customer sees what was checked and what was done.

What is the difference between pre-work and post-work checks?

Pre-work checks capture what the car came in with, before anyone starts. Post-work checks are signed off before the car goes back out, confirming the job is finished.
