Bay board
Bays grouped into lanes: ramps, detailing, yard. A wall-mounted board the whole team reads at a glance, and a working surface you drag jobs around.
Drag an unassigned job onto a free bay to place it. Drag a car between bays to move it. Drop onto an occupied bay to swap. Placing a booked-in job puts it into progress automatically.
Plate, job reference, status with a colour and a label, who is on it, and how long it has been in. Status is never colour alone, so it reads on any screen and for any eyes.
A job whose time-in passes its expected duration gets a danger edge and an "over" label, at two metres, without anyone touching it.
Comfortable on a big screen in the workshop and on a tablet in someone's hand. Changes sync live across every screen within about a second.
